Lin Wang


Professor, School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Jinan, China. Member of IEEE, Member of ACM, and Member of CCF.

Research Interests:  machine learning, data mining and their applications in scientific computing.

Lin Wang received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from the School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University, China, 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor at School of Information Science and Engineering, University of Jinan, China and Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Network Based Intelligent Computing, University of Jinan, China. He serves as Committee Member of ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education China (SIGCSE China), Committee Member of China Computer Federation Young Computer Scientists & Engineers Forum(CCF YOCSEF), and Committee Member of Special Interest Group on Big Data and Intelligent Computing of Shandong Computer Federation. He is Program Committee Member and Special Session Chair of many international conferences, e.g. SIGCSE China, IEEE PICom. He is the Winner of ACM Jinan Rising Star Award and Winner of Shandong Provincial Natural Science Academic Innovation Award. He has been granted Taishan Scholar Project of Shandong Province, China, and granted Provincial University Excellent Young Scientists Foundation of Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
